This is the best hot (or cold) chocolate drink ever! It’s a great way to get your chocolate fix while giving yourself a boost of important nutrients (including protein, healthy fats, magnesium, iron, and calcium).
1/4 cup of cashews, unsalted
1 Tbsp raw cacao powder (can add 2 Tbsp for richer chocolate taste)
2 Medjool dates, pitted
2 cups of soy milk, calcium fortified
Dash of cinnamon
- Blend all ingredients together in blender for 1-2 minutes until silky smooth.
- Pour into mug and heat in microwave for about 50 seconds (or have cold).
- Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or cacao powder.
